Lehman Idetown UMC Weather Cancellation Policy: 12/2/2019

Ultimately, congregants should use caution during any snowy, icy or other stormy conditions; while church may not be cancelled due to weather, always choose caution and safety first, even if this limits your attendance. Sermons will be available online (www.liumc.net) within 24 hours should you like to hear the message from that Sunday morning.
The church will cancel services in conditions where our building, electricity or gas connections are damaged or if there is an imminent issue.
The church will cancel in snowy or icy conditions by 8am on a Sunday morning. If we decide to cancel, we will post an announcement on our website’s home page (www.liumc.net), on our Facebook page, and in an email. If we cancel our church services, please call and text other people who may not know or who do not check their email/Internet. Please over-share our cancellation so that folks can stay safe at home.

Above all else, please think carefully and decide to drive to church only when it is safe for you to do so!
